BLUE won gold in the Branding category and silver in the Consumer Goods category for the website they developed for Fluval, a global leader in aquatic products. The digital agency created an underwater experience to showcase the catalogue of innovative aquatic products offered by Fluval. The website streamlines the visitor’s search of products in sections that were designed to showcase the products offered across a wide range of categories: Freshwater, Saltwater and Lifestyle – each reflecting their unique underwater realities, with the use of distinct colours, fish and detailing that would be found in each type of tank. The scroll and changing environments give the consumers the impression that they are “diving deeper” into the underwater experience of each segment, allowing them to explore the products they want.
BLUE also received a gold award in the Hotel/Lodging category for the Petit Ermitage Hotel website. The hotel wanted to create a website that offered clients a glimpse of the experience they could have at their iconic hotel. BLUE designed a customized website with striking images from the hotel and whimsical characters that gives visitors a taste of it's eccentric flavour. The dynamic navigation allows visitors to view key features about the property.
Finally, BLUE won silver in the Food/Beverage category for the website they developed for the Ferreira Café, the iconic Portuguese restaurant located in downtown Montreal. The website is meant to reflect the Ferreira experience, rich in colours of Portugal and with a design that is both appetizing and convivial.

About the Davey Awards
The Davey Awards honors outstanding creative from the best small agencies and companies worldwide. David defeated the mighty Goliath with a big idea and a little rock. That is the sort of thing small firms do every day. The Davey Awards honors the achievement of the "creative David's" where strength comes from ideas, intelligence and out-of-the-box thinking, not a "Giant's" bankroll.

“Our objective was to create an office space that would inspire creativity and facilitate communication among our team, which the designers brilliantly achieved.” – Sophie Lymburner, President of BLUE
The designers, Jean-Guy Chabauty and Anne Sophie Goneau, abolished the walls to emphasize the magnitude of the ceilings and windows. “The uniform materials, colours, and furniture, harmoniously fit with the space’s architecture. The varnished concrete floors and the ceilings that reveal installations, were unified with the use of a coat of white paint,” Goneau explained. The space is a white canvas adored with blue sofas in the center of the room, symbollically representative of BLUE.
The Montreal digital agency is now located in Griffintown’s INGO Innovation Center, a LEED-certified heritage building that has been completely renovated to respond to the needs of high-tech businesses that wish to work in a stimulating and creative environment.
